    Objectives<\/b><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The primary objectives of this engagement are to:<\/span><\/h4>\n

    • \n

      Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue management strategy for Lao Airlines.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n

      Optimize pricing and inventory control across all routes and fare classes.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

      Forecast demand and adjust pricing and capacity accordingly.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

      Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify revenue opportunities.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

      Improve revenue management processes and systems.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

      Develop a detailed workflow instruction manual on revenue management processes and system utilization for staff.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

      Train and mentor Lao Airlines staff on revenue management best practices.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Scope of Work<\/b><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The revenue management expert will be responsible for the following key tasks:<\/span><\/h4>\n
          \n
        • \n

          Strategy Development:<\/b> Develop and implement a data-driven revenue management strategy aligned with Lao Airlines’ overall business objectives. This will include defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and establishing targets for revenue growth, load factor, and yield.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
        • \n

          Pricing Optimization:<\/b> Analyze historical data, market trends, and competitor pricing to develop optimal pricing strategies for different fare classes and routes. Implement dynamic pricing models where appropriate.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

          Inventory Control:<\/b> Effectively manage seat inventory to maximize revenue and minimize spoilage. Develop strategies for overbooking and revenue protection.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

          Demand Forecasting:<\/b> Develop and refine demand forecasting models to accurately predict future demand and adjust pricing and capacity accordingly.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

          Competitive Analysis:<\/b> Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats. Develop strategies to respond effectively to competitive pressures.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

          Reporting and Analysis:<\/b> Prepare regular reports on revenue performance, key metrics, and market trends. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for action.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

          System Optimization:<\/b> Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing revenue management systems and tools. Collaborate with IT to implement necessary changes.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

          Workflow Instruction Manual Development<\/b>: Create a comprehensive workflow instruction manual, detailing all revenue management processes, system usage, and best practices. This must be written in a manner that is easy for current staff to understand and follow.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

          Training and Mentoring:<\/b> Provide training and mentorship to Lao Airlines staff on revenue management best practices and the use of relevant systems and tools.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

          Collaboration:<\/b> Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, network planning, and operations, to ensure alignment and maximize revenue generation.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Qualifications and Experience<\/b><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:<\/span><\/h4>\n
                  \n
                • \n

                  Bachelor’s degree<\/span>\u00a0in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics. A Master’s degree is preferred.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
                • \n

                  A minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management, preferably within the airline industry.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
                • \n

                  Strong understanding of revenue management principles, techniques, and best practices.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
                • \n

                  Proficiency in using revenue management systems and tools (Lao Airlines is using PROS RME)<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
                • \n

                  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
                • \n

                  Excellent communication and presentation skills.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
                • \n

                  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
                • \n

                  Experience in the Asia-Pacific region is a plus.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
